Orange Grove looks out over 2.5 hectares of natural splendour, crowned at the entrance by long rows of seasonal orange-pink rose blossoms. The grevilleas that line the lengthy driveway flower all year round and the grounds are alive with native birds feeding off the nectar. A colourful theme park amuses visitors, as they stroll under towering lemon-scented gums, and is one of the many features introduced to stimulate the imagination of the residents. Orange Grove is next to the Stirling Ranges, south-east of Perth, where the local area abounds in wild flowers during spring. Following Maddinton Road into the hills, visitors will find the Bickley recreation area and dam; a picture-postcard setting for picnics and walks, only a few minutes drive away.

Built with two wings, for both high and low care, Orange Grove is a 50 bed facility specifically designed to cater for residents with dementia, who benefit daily from the colour and scents of the sensory gardens and park. An enclosed courtyard garden offers a perfect location for exercise and fresh air, or just a quite place to sit for those who prefer to be outside. Inside too, each wing has a glassed atrium garden off the main living room to add interest and appeal. Clean, neat and inviting, the facility is a secure environment for those with a tendency to wander.
